Texas Compassionate Use Program

Our physician, Dr. Ashley Finch, is a participating physician in the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas (CURT). We offer consultations to determine program eligibility for patients with conditions that cause chronic pain. A DPC membership is not required.

Who qualifies?

To be eligible, you must:

• Be a permanent resident of Texas

• Have a diagnosed condition that causes chronic pain

• Have no history of substance use disorder, a mental health condition causing psychosis or hallucinations, heart attack, stroke, frequent falls, or severe liver disease

• Not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant

What is “chronic pain”?

Chronic pain is severe constant or intermittent pain that has lasted more than 90 days, is caused by an ongoing medical condition, and has not improved with standard pain treatments.

What to expect

All patients are required to complete intake forms, bring a photo ID, and provide documentation of their diagnosed medical conditions.

Eligibility is determined by the physician at the time of your visit. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
